We have been raising rabbits since 2004.

I went through a period of finding "my heart breed", much like all
breeders go through. We spent six years raising holland lops. We spent
several years also raising mini lops and jersey woolies, as well as belgian hares.
We sold out of the mini lops, keeping only a pair of pets, our first mini lop
G.C., BIS winning doe (and the second mini lop doe we ever bought!) and my husbands
favorite buck, a BRIS winner that ended his career with 14 legs.

When we decided to not continue breeding Belgian Hares, it was a hard decision, but
due to space concerns, it had to happen. I am proud to say that the Keep's
hares went to a good friend of mine and helped produce top winning offspring at
the 2010 ARBA Convention in Minnesota! I have one Belgian Hare left, a pet.

After a long time working with the hollands, I realized where my heart really was-
with the Jersey Woolies, which were first introduced in to the rabbitry in
2006. I sold out the entire holland lop herd and now we work exclusively with
Jersey woolies.

Here at Keep's Rabbitry, we strive to improve the Jersey Wooly breed. We DO NOT
sell bunnies under 8 weeks of age for any reason, to anyone. We believe very
strongly in this and will not make an exception.

We are registered with ARBA- the American Rabbit Breeders Association.
We are members of the NJWRC- the National Jersey Wooly Rabbit Club.
